It's time for Nordic skiing fans to get going on the trails during the winter months. The Zittauer Gebirge area offers numerous opportunities for extended ski tours, and the necessary equipment can even be rented directly on-location.
Skiers and snowboarders will have a blast in the winter in the Outdoor Land's ski areas at the Lausche and other local slopes. If you don't have the right boards or you're looking for a ski school, everything you need is here.
During the cold season, you can also discover the Zittauer Gebirge area on foot along the edge of regional ski trails or with snowshoes.
Show your skills on the ice from the end of August until April in the Sparkassen Arena in Jonsdorf, or cheer on the boys of the Jonsdorfer Falken during a home game.
Steep descents are guaranteed - whether with friends or family - on the numerous sledding slopes in and around the towns in the Zittauer Gebirge.
