Hiking trails
Almost all hiking trails in the Zittauer Gebirge area may also be used in the winter months for hiking.
A short break inside to warm up during a winter tour is also not a problem: all mountain lodges and rest stops along the routes are open during the winter and are looking forward to your visit.
Attention: on the edge of the hiking trails, ski trails are reserved for Nordic skiers during the winter in case of good snow conditions, and they shouldn't be disturbed.
Snow shoe hiking
We offer nature fans guided show shoe hikes across untouched areas off of the main trails. Equipment is available for up to six participants (snow shoes, poles).
Current dates are available in the weekly hiking calendar and in the events program of the mountain association. We're also happy to provide you with individual appointments.

Torch-lit hike on the Lausche
The romantic torch-lit hike on the Lausche always takes place on the third Friday of each month. If at least 5 people are present, then the hike takes place. Registration is not necessary.
Meeting place: Oberdorf parking lot at the OT Erholungsort Waltersdorf
Start: 7:00 or 8:00 p.m.
